I was contacted by a reporter at NBC Los Angeles because she spotted my photo being used alongside a fake name to give reviews to various companies all over the world. The reporter first asked me if I was using the alias "Marilyn R Park" to review companies - and of course, I was not. Fake reviews are becoming more and more common. In fact, the NBC4 I-Team uncovered hundreds of apparently fraudulent reviews just for Southern California area businesses, and online experts warn there could be millions more. These fake reviews appear on the sites that you frequent every day: Google, Facebook, Yelp, and many more! Worse still, these companies are using well-known public figures and celebrities to gain the trust and respect of their potential clients.
